Seasonal motherhood wellbeing workshops in East Devon

This is a welcoming, nourishing morning workshop for reflection, gentle yoga and pilates based movement and psychologically supported journaling and intention-setting for the season ahead.

We are mothers and we are both passionate about supporting other mothers during this time of matrescence, transition and emotional and spiritual growth. 

We invite mothers and carers at all stages of their motherhood journey to join us. Babes in arms / under one are welcome.

We know personally how much connecting with the seasons helps us to become grounded through the challenges of motherhood and this is why we have chosen to theme our sessions with the changing seasons.

We hope you will come back for each seasonal check-in with yourself and others to help you on your motherhood journey.

Our next event will be in Summer 2026

We will be returning with Pause. Restore. Grow. in summer to celebrate the summer solstice and celebrate the energy of this season with you. If you’d like to join us please sign up to our event mailing list so you can be amongst the first to find out about the date and earlybird ticket prices.

What to expect:

  • Our events prioritize comfort, psychological safety, compassion and respect—so you can show up as you are and fully engage in the process. As we are all mums we totally understand life with little ones - do feel free to bring your baby if they are still in arms/under one (ish).

  • Led by experienced guides (Belinda Gidman-Rowse and Nancy Osborne) who know how to hold space using the pillars of psychological safety, encourage participation, and provide a warm, welcoming space.

  • We will weave in elements of matrescence, seasonal and cyclical living to each of our sessions to bring us all into deeper awareness of our internal and external seasons which are both deeply personal and also part of the collective experience.

  • Nancy Osborne (Women’s health physiotherapist and yoga/pilates Instructor) will offer a seasonally aligned gentle, restorative movement session to (re)connect you wtih your body that draws on postures from yoga and pilates to stretch and strengthen.

  • Psychologically supported creative journalling (hosted by Belinda Gidman-Rowse, Counsellor & Psychotherapist) to help you reveal what changes you may need to make, what to let go of and what to nourish in the season ahead. This will draw on a range of therapeutic modalities and activities suitable for the group.

  • Nancy Osborne (Yoga/Pilates Instructor) will offer a guided seasonal meditation and breathwork segment each session to relax your nervous system and bring you into connection with your mind-body awareness.
