Welcome, I’m Belinda
Gidman-Rowse (MNCPS Acc.)
My name is Belinda Gidman-Rowse, Counsellor and Psychotherapist (MCAP, MNCPS Acc).
My passion is supporting women through major life transitions; from pregnancy and birth, through matrescence and motherhood, to menopause and beyond.
My therapeutic approach is integrative and holistic, underpinned by humanistic psychotherapies and a trauma-informed lens.
I draw on a range of modalities including: Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Parts Work (IFS and Focusing Oriented Therapy). I am informed by Attachment Theory, Polyvagal Theory and Psychodynamic principles.
I am myself a mother of three - including twins - so I have personal experience of the raft of challenges motherhood can bring. I have lived overseas for a decade and dealt with the complexities of re-location and re-integration. I have changed careers, from a previous life in Communications to my dream job in Counselling & Psychotherapy. All this to say, I see you in the chaos of change, I’ve been there, and I am here to help.
I established Grow Psychotherapy in 2023 to support people experiencing personal, relational or life challenges. I can help with depression, anxiety, stress, self-esteem issues, relationship challenges and much more.
I look forward to working with you, if you choose to start your therapy journey with me.
